How we compare casinos like Shuffle: sources, dates and the order of the list
Each figure on this site comes from 1 of 3 places: a licence register, the casino's own terms and pages, or our own money, which we have used on 2 casinos. This page explains each source and its blind spots, what a blank cell means, and why the list on the home page is in the order it is.
What every casino is asked
Each casino on the site is put through the same 5 questions, because they are the ones that decide whether an account goes well:
- Which register confirms its licence, under which number, with which status, on which date?
- When can it ask for documents, and under which clause?
- What does it write down about withdrawals: time, ceiling, fees, conditions?
- What does its lobby hold: originals, a sportsbook, a token, how many studios?
- What is the welcome offer, and is the wagering printed next to it?
The answers fill the columns of our Shuffle alternatives comparison. The first three matter most; a generous offer at a casino that will not let you withdraw is worth nothing.
Source one: the licence register
We search the casino's domain in the Curaçao Gaming Authority certificate portal and in the Anjouan public register, and record the number, the holder, the status and the date. The register, not the badge in the footer, fills the licence cell.
A record marked Revoked, expired or removed means the regulator no longer stands behind the casino, and we never describe such a casino as licensed. BC.Game's Curaçao record is marked Revoked and appears that way on every page. When a search returns nothing, we run a known covered domain through the same register in the same session before we call the result empty.
Source two: the casino's own documents
Terms of service, anti-money-laundering policies, licence pages, promotions and VIP pages, and anything the cashier shows before login. We quote clause numbers so you can find the sentence yourself. Where a claim comes from a marketing page rather than the terms, we say so.
Shuffle is a good example of why the clause number matters. Its clause 5.2 turns “no published threshold” into “ID before the first withdrawal anyway”, and that difference only shows when you read the sentence rather than a summary of it.
The token sits above the games: SHFL at $0.2927 that day, with Convert and Dashboard buttons, then the lottery and the airdrop. The Shuffle Games row is the in-house originals. The cookie notice at the bottom is the site’s own.
Source three: our own money
We have tested exactly two casinos with our own money: TrustDice in May 2026 and Vave on 28 August 2026. Those are the only places where the site describes depositing, withdrawing or being asked for ID from experience, and they are labelled as ours wherever they appear. We have not played at Shuffle or Shuffle.us.
Review portals, rating sites and user-review platforms are not a source for any figure here.
What a blank cell means
A dash or “not in our file” means we did not read that fact for that casino. It is not a claim that the casino has no such rule. Shuffle's coin list is a case in point: its terms say the list is shown in the cashier, the cashier sits behind registration, and we did not open an account, so the cell stays blank rather than borrowing a number from someone else.
Screenshots
Every screenshot is a real capture of the casino's own page, unretouched and dated in its caption. Where the site's own name for a product could confuse, the caption says which one it is: the four Shuffle.us captures are labelled as Shuffle.us, never as the crypto casino.
Country lists
Each casino publishes its own list of places it does not serve, and we point you to it rather than build pages around who is excluded where. We do not explain how to get round a country list, a location check or a self-exclusion scheme.
Dates
Terms change without notice, and Shuffle's carry no version number or date at all. Every figure here has the date it was read. When we re-read a document, the page and the date change together.
How the list is ordered
Vave is first because it pays for that place, and the page says so. It is also one of the two casinos we tested, so it is the one first-place choice we can back from our own account. After Vave, each Shuffle alternative is placed by how closely it matches what Shuffle offers (originals, a sportsbook, a token, a crypto cashier) and by its register record. A casino with a revoked record goes below every casino with an Active one.
